Happy Mid-week everyone!
I love pairing black and white apparels together as this color palette never goes out of style. But to make an outfit more interesting, I love the idea of combining monochrome pieces with unique patterns to enhance the overall look.
Happy Monday Everyone!
Hope it does not appear weird that I am featuring a thick coat today as it should be getting warmer in many parts of the world by now! These pictures were actually taken in the first week of April when it was still chilly in Paris, with temperatures ranging in the single digits. Apart from my faithful black coat and leather jacket, this white coat is definitely a life-saver for me!
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you have had a great weekend and a fruitful start to the week!
The dress featured today is a piece I really like as it encompasses two classic features – stripe prints and a monochrome palette!
To add some vibrancy to the whole look, I introduced a striking pop of red from the bag to the monochrome outfit. The ornamental scroll design necklace was also matched to the dress for a touch of understated glam.
I would like to end this post with an inspirational quote I retrieve from Song of Style –
Hope you enjoy this post and wishing everyone a great weak ahead! See you!

The top featured today comes with attached black sash which is meant to be tied as a bow, a rather unique design in my opinion. I guess this “out of the ordinary” sort of design is not everyone’s cup of tea though, as I found this apparel on huge discount at a boutique specializing in Korean brand clothing. Trying the piece was not allowed at the boutique due to its discounted price nor was return accepted, so I took a leap of faith in getting this piece as I was not entirely sure how it will look on me.
Tying the black sash into a bow so that it sits right did take some time but all it required was a little practice so I would say the effect is not too bad! As the top is already quite outstanding, I decided to stick to a classic monochrome palette to keep the look simple.
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy this post! See you again soon!
